So as my vacation comes to a close I decide that I could use a little gas money. So I take bottles back and make an easy $30.35. Now does that moeny actually go towards gas? Well the answer is some of it does. The rest goes towards a new PS2 game. That game is Tomb Raider: Anniversary. I'm hoping it will be the game that clarifies the mystery surrounding Natla but if not I'm sure it'll be a good game. I haven't yet got a chance to play it but I'm really hoping it's better than Underworld. Which, by the way, I finished.
The reason I hope it is better than Underworld is because Underworld had a lot of potential but went nowhere. graphics were worse than the preceeding game, there was a lot of clipping and invisible walls, the final boss was a puzzle, and the story was a huge let down after the amazing story telling that Legend did. I'll talk more about Anniversary after I actually play it though.
I actually went back to Kingdom Hearts 2 last night and made a little over 5 minutes of progress in an hour and a half's worth of playing. (also known as I got stuck on a really hard boss then gave up after a while)
I made it quite far in Heart Gold. In fact I'm at the elite four. I would tell you what my team is but I don't have my DSi handy at the moment. But I can tell you that I have a Meganium, Arcanine, Crobat, Umbreon, Pidgeot, and Staryu.
Well it's about time that I finish up this post. So I guess it's time for the song!

More gaming!
I have to say that I'm watching rinrygamegame on justin.tv and it made me think of my blog. Why's that? It's because she is the reason I started a blog. So if you enjoy reading it you should help her out and subscribe to her http://www.youtube.com/rinrygamegame or read her blog, http://gamegame.ca
Earlier today I decided I would rearrange all my games. I organized them and made it really neat. But because I have a brother it didn't stay that way long. Anyway, as I was sorting them I found a DS game that I haven't played in years. The game is Elite Beat Agents. It's a game that incorporates, and is based around the rhythm of real life music. The point of the game is to tap circles in sync with the music being played. Sounds easy right? That's sort of true but as you progress through the game you get faster songs with more complex patterns with more circles. If you've played this game you know how amazing it is. If not it probably sounds like total garbage, but trust me, it's not.
When Elite Beat agents came out I fell for it... hard. I even went as far as importing the Japanese copy title "Osu Tatake Ouendan" which features only Japanese music. Needless to say it is the same game with different music.
Anyway here is a picture of them.
I played Heart Gold today as well. I've gotten past the seventh gym which was laughably easy, and trained my pokémon a bit. my current team is:
Pidgeotto (27)
Arcanine (28)
Staryu (28)
Bayleef (28)
Crobat (28)
Umbreon (30)
Other than that I have nothing else to say about it.
I also started yet ANOTHER game. But ever since doing so I regret it a lot. Tomb Raider Legend. It had a lot of potential but falls short. I haven't played it too much but I've played three complete levels and the camera angles and controls are enough to make you throw your controller in frustration. I've told a few of my friends that if I didn't want to know what happened to Lara's mother I wouldn't play the game.
Well here's another update of how I'm doing in all my other games:
Kingdom Hearts 2: hasn't been touched since the last time I talked about it.
Animal Crossing Wild World: You can't really make progress in this game so the same I guess.
Luigi's Mansion: Due to recording issues and what's to come in the next two weeks I can't really play it but I have one episode into area four recorded.
I feel like this post was kind of all over the place. But once I clear a few of the games out of the way it'll be more focused on one game.
Umm... let's see... It's about time for a song...

Short post that has nothing to do with games
Yesterday I failed to mention that I got a new puppy! She's a golden retriever and we named her Molly!
Like I said this had nothing to do with games but it's exciting nonetheless.
So short post, short song. it's catchy and it's amazing. http://www.glenncase.com/music/themes/LittleMissGamer.mp3

Major Progress!
It's been a while, and for that I apologize. But as I said in my VERY FIRST POST I can't promise consistent posts.
Well I am Happy to announce that I have knocked a game off of my to-do list. What game you ask? Tomb Raider Legend! It was an amazing yet short game that Only took me four sit downs to beat. Granted I sat down for about two hours at a time.
Also one major obstacle is out of the way. I have gotten all 120 stars in Galaxy. That game was torture! The way gravity was shifted gave such bad controls and camera angles. I have yet to decide if I am going to play through it as Luigi or not. (Though it was worth the whole game just to hear Luigi say "Super Luigi Galaxy!")
Now for the Heart Gold update. I have gotten the fifth badge and my team is now:
Staryu (19)
Growlithe (22)
Eevee (24)
Pidgeotto (26)
Crobat (27)
Bayleef (27)
That's not too bad of a team. Right? Well I haven't made much progress because I've been training up Staryu. And anyone who's done that knows how much of a chore it is because it has such a low HP stat.
I guess this is the time when I leave you with a song. This song is my favorite song of all time. I may go through phases when I like other songs better but this is my favorite overall. Mainly because the girl who introduced me to it was my best friend from fifth grade through Freshman year of High School. Then she moved away and She is all I think about when I listen to it. This song is none other than Collide by Howie Day.

Another night of gaming
Alright I admit that despite saying I wouldn't start any new games I started playing Tomb Raider Legend. Now this game is amazing. After playing through Angel of Darkness (Which I thought it was a good game at the time) This game seems one hundred times better. I now see why Angel Of Darkness is the worst in the series.
Anyway back to legend. As I said This game is much better and here are a few reasons why:
1. (the most important) The game controls like a dream.
2. Lara is no longer a superhuman that can jump six feet in the air from standing still which makes the game more realistic and therefore more fun to play.
3. It looks amazing
4. more clear laid out routes. (In Angel of Darkness you had to jump and hopefully be able to grab the ledge which many times causes you to die. In Legend if it looks like you can make a jump or grab a ledge, you can.
5. Music is constantly playing throughout the game.
6. It takes place in, oh I don't know, TOMBS! (Unlike Angel of Darkness where you play mostly in research facilities and cities.)
So yeah those are why I like the game better. And can't wait to finish because I already bought Underworld.
Now I just got done playing Mario Galaxy. I hate how you can't get all the stars before the final boss but that is just a minor gripe. Other than that I have almost nothing to say about the game. I have sixty-nine stars at the moment.
I did a little leveling up in Heart Gold but nothing major. I found Raikou AGAIN. I think that makes it five times. He is just begging to be caught.
The song of tonight is what is currently my favorite song. It is the last song on my CD of five songs. Here it is.

Sadly there is no website that has this song playable because is a remake so I hope this link takes you to my playlist on playlist.com

Little bit of nothing
Ok so yesterday I did a little gaming but nothing major. I just played a little bit of Heart Gold. I finally finished filling my team. It's now Bayleef, Golbat, Pidgeotto, Growlithe, Eevee, and Staryu.
I faced off against Morty and expected to need three pokémon So I decided that I would bring Golbat, Bayleef, and Pidgeotto. Little did I know he had four. The battle was over in just six turns. Golbat did all the fighting and only recieved about 37 hp worth of damage. All in all I was disappointed.
I ran into Raikou three times so far. Hopefully on the fourth I catch him.
Catching Staryu was very stressful seeing as I caught it on my Pokéwalker. I went for a jog for the first time in forever just to get up to 5000 steps. It was kind of funny actually. My parents thought I was just going for a jog to get out, when in fact I was playing a video game.
Since today had almost no text I'll give you three songs. These are three of the songs that I listen to on the way to school. These are my three least favorites of the five but are still good songs. BUT I can't post them until I get out of school. I'm not sure if this will work but here's a link to the page where I can view the playlist. http://www.playlist.com/playlist/19524609291

Last night's gaming
Well as anyone who follows me on twitter might have seen, I got home from school and it was pouring rain and I had no homework. So I decided to play some video games. So I sat down with Heart Gold for a few hours before I had to make supper.
Now I just found the Pokédome and spent about an hour and a half there so I didn't make much progress. After I ate a little bit I went back to the game and decided I would do one of the bug catching contest. I caught a Scyther and didn't even come in third. (I don't plan on using the Scyther so if you want it just ask) Anyway I found Bill and went and got my Eevee I trained it a little alongside my Growlithe.
I remembered that the Kimono Girls battles were one of my favorite parts of the original games and was excited to do that again. Then I found that they weren't there. Needless to say I was a little upset.
So I set out to see the legendary dogs. I found my rival and completely destroyed him. The dogs ran and it looked much better in this game. So I figured that I would just train some more before I ended. With my level eight Eevee out in front I went west. The first battle I got into was with Raikou! but without my Golbat out to make running impossible for him, I had to resort to using my only fast ball. It shook three times but I didn't get it. Oh well. After a little more training I saved and stopped playing.
Then I went up to my room at about nine and decided I would play Kingdom Hearts 2. When I started I was about to fight Demyx. This fight was the first hard fight in the game. I admit I died. not only once but about ten or more times. But I was only killed about five. The other "deaths" were because I went into Master or Valor form and he decided that he wanted to make ten "Forms" that I had to kill in ten seconds. And without Goofy and Donald helping I was unable to kill them and apparently there is some law that says the world ends if you don't kill them all in ten seconds. And I tell you that if I had a cheap Playstation controller I would no longer have one. That fight was frustrating.
So After the fight I watched Goofy get "killed" and I said I'll play a little bit more and if he comes back I'll play more if not this game will progress much slower and I'll most likely not finish it. Well he lived and it was about eleven thirty.
So I stopped playing and went to Animal Crossing and that's not very exciting so I won't bother talking about it.
(A thing that I will try to do on every post is put a song or playlist at the end of every post. But I'm in school now so I can't get either. So I'll try to get one later today.)
This is one of the few songs I listen to every day on the way to school every morning. I'll put the others up in my next few posts. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
